When Mommy Leaves

I haven't been very active with the blog for several months now. Thank you to all who expressed concern. I guess it's time to come clean with why.

My dad passed away 2 years ago and it was a very difficult experience for me. Way beyond anything I ever imagined.

At that time we invited my mother to come and live with us, which she did.

She passed away on September 26 of this year.

It's been extremely challenging for me to deal with her death as well. But I'm glad we had those 2 years together. Her health was bad, so it was a very challenging time as I cared for her, but they were 2 precious years that I'll always hold dear.

I'm also thankful that having a truly passive residual network marketing income allowed me to spend time with her rather than having to work outside the house.

I've been putting off writing about this because I wanted to give her a wonderful tribute. But the truth is there are no words.

So the best I can do is to quote Darcie Sims:

"My mom taught me everything - except how to live without her."

The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing

I haven't been able to update my blog as much as I'd like. I've been busy working on a new project which ran into some technical glitches (still being worked on) and then we had a death in the family which required travel and took a tremendous emotional toll on us.

Life is starting to get back to a routine now and if we can get our I.T. people to work out the technical kinks (fingers crossed), I'll have some new things to share with you (including the new series of 5 videos I mentioned last month).

Ann Sieg wrote this and it's the second-best book on MLM I've read in years. The first best book is her other one, "The Renegade Network Marketer, but that one isn't free.

The message of this book is very refreshing. She's saying a lot of the same things I've been saying for several years now so I really appreciate having another voice standing against the old wore-out and out-dated network marketing traditional training philosophy (that never actually worked to begin with!).

Ann Sieg exposes them to the wind in this new and fresh look at our industry, and most importantly, how the average person can find real success by bucking traditional approaches.
